Lofer is a picturesque village at 639m, surrounded by forest, mountains and charming rivers. Thanks to its central position, Lofer is an ideal starting point for all your winter activities. In the centre of the resort, you will be able to rent your alpine ski or snowboard equipment. An ideal holiday spot, the Loferer Alm ski domain (46km of pistes) is waiting for you with 2 cable cars, 2 chair lifts and 11 ski lifts. Up till now, nine snowmaking machines ensured perfect snow conditions, but in the future over 50 snowmaking machines will be functioning all over the Loferer Alm ski domain and on the downhill ski piste. If you prefer cross country to alpine ski, you will be pleased to find 12km of cross country trails at about 1400m, where you can discover the amazing landscapes of the Saalach Valley and explore the Salzburg region.
